Gra o Tron

Jerome Flynn as Bronn (TV series)

Bronn, along with his fellow sellsword Chiggen, was a patron of the inn in which Catelyn Stark called for loyal men to help her arrest Tyrion Lannister for the attempted murder of her son. Bronn and Chiggen heeded Catelyn's call and helped escort Tyrion to the Orle Gniazdo. During the journey Bronn survives an attack on their party by members of a clan of the mountains and becomes closer to Tyrion, much to Catelyn's chagrin.

Tyrion notes that Bronn and Chiggen only came to Catelyn's aid because they were sellswords and were hoping for a reward. During a later ambush, Chiggen is mortally wounded and Bronn discreetly finishes him off, claiming to Lady Catelyn that Chiggen died from his wounds.

During Tyrion's trial Bronn volunteered to champion him in trial by combat and killed Ser Vardis Egen, saving Tyrion's life. He did so for the promise of wealth and made no secret of his motives. Thereafter he passed into Tyrion's service as a hired sword.[4] Prior to the Bitwa nad Zielonymi Widłami he finds Shae for Tyrion amongst the camp followers and later takes part in the battle.[3] He then accompanies Tyrion to Królewska Przystań.

Starcie Królów

In Królewska Przystań, Bronn becomes the captain of Tyrion's guards.[1] During his time at Królewska Przystań, Bronn was tasked with hiring sellswords for the upcoming hostilities and familiarized himself with the politics within the Czerwona Twierdza. Bronn also survived the initial spark of the riots that ravaged the city due to famine, afterwards moving to protect Tyrion from the Gwardia Królewska Rycerzs he was arguing with. Tyrion assigns hiim to head the relief effort to ensure that the fires started by the rioters were extinguished.

When Stannis Baratheon's host finally arrives, he is put in charge of pulling the massive chain tight across the Blackwater at the right time, a position of vital importance during the Bitwa nad Czarnym Nurtem. The operation was a success and much of Stannis's fleet was destroyed.[5] For his contribution, Cersei and Tywin put him forward for Rycerzhood. He calls himself Ser Bronn of the Blackwater and took as his sigil a green, flaming chain on a smoking grey field, in commemoration of his role in the battle. He was Rycerzed by a member of the Gwardia Królewska.[6]

Nawałnica Mieczy

Tyrion has Bronn discreetly kill the singer Symon Silvertongue after Symon tried to blackmail Tyrion. It is implied that his body was disposed in one of Flea Bottom's pot shops.

When Tyrion was accused of murdering his nephew King Joffrey, Bronn refused to champion him a second time in a trial by combat against the monstrous Ser Gregor Clegane, taking an offer from Cersei instead to marry into the wealthy Ród Stokeworthów. He did not forget Tyrion completely, however.

Uczta dla Wron

He named his wife Lollys's bastard son Tyrion in dubious honor of his former employer. This led Queen Cersei to fear that he was still in league with Tyrion, and caused Cersei to conspire with Bronn's good-sister Falyse Stokeworth and her husband Ser Balman Byrch to have Bronn killed. Ser Balman, ever chivalrous, challenged Bronn to a duel, but Bronn killed Balman using dirty tactics and Lady Falyse was expelled from the castle, and was eventually killed by Qyburn after running to Królewska Przystań. Upon Ser Balman's death, Bronn was unopposed as the Lord Protector of Stokeworth, a claim derived from his wife's new position as Lady Stokeworth.
