Ród Baratheonów z Królewskiej Przystani jest królewską linią Baratheonów z Końca Burzy, od których pochodzi. Został założony przez Roberta Baratheona po udanym buncie przeciw Aerysowi Targaryenowi.

Ostatnie wydarzenia

King Robert, when he appoints Eddard Stark as Namiestnik Króla, also offers Prince Joffrey's hand in marriage to Ned's daughter Sansa. Robert is killed by a boar while out on a hunt, inebriated by strongwine arranged for by his wife Cersei Lannister, who fears what he might do if he discovers the truth that her three children are not his, but are the result of incestuous liaisons with her brother Jaime the Kingslayer. The claim of this line to the Żelazny Tron is disputed by their "uncles," Stannis Baratheon and Renly Baratheon.

The second ruler of the house, Joffrey I, created their new coat of arms, the crowned stag of Ród Baratheonów, black on gold, and the lion of Lannister, gold on crimson, combatant.[1][2] The new king, Tommen I continues to use this blazon.[3] Since its current lord remains a child, the House is, for all practical matters, controlled by Ród Lannisterów.

Tyrion Lannister, acting as Namiestnik Króla, betroths his niece Princess Myrcella to wed Prince Trystane Martell in order to help avoid hostility with Dorne. King Joffrey's forces defend his House's claim to the throne against Stannis's branch of the family in the Bitwa nad Czarnym Nurtem. He, however, is assassinated during his wedding feast, his throne and his bride Margaery Tyrell passing to the new King Tommen. Princess Arianne Martell plots to crown Princess Myrcella as Queen of Westeros, as she would be according to Dornish law. Her conspiracy is betrayed and Myrcella is wounded by Ser Gerold Dayne.
