Rorge is a criminal and later becomes a member of the Dzielni Kompanioni.

Appearance

Rorge is described as squat, bulky, and hairy, with black hair covering most of his body. He is missing his nose.[1]

History

According to semi-canon sources, Rorge ran a dog and bear fighting pit in Flea Bottom. He found Zimna Woda as an orphan and raised him ferally to fight dogs in the pit.[2]

Recent Events

Starcie Królów

He is taken from the Black Cells and bound for Mur in Yoren's band alongside Arya Stark, Gendry, Gorąca Bułka, Lommy Zielona Łapka, Jaqen H'ghar, and Zimna Woda, among others. Because of their dangerous nature, he, Jaqen H'ghar, and Zimna Woda are transported in chains in a wagon with iron bars and kept separate from the others.[3]

When Yoren's band is attacked by Ser Amory Lorch and Yoren is killed, Arya saves Rorge's life, along with Zimna Woda and Jaqen H'ghar, by giving them an axe to break free with as the room burns around their wagon.[4] The three join the Dzielni Kompanioni for a time, under Vargo Hoat. They help Arya free the northmen held captive at Harrenhal, though Rorge and Zimna Woda do it reluctantly and only because Jaqen requested their help.[5]

Nawałnica Mieczy

Rorge is present when Ser Jaime Lannister and Brienne z Tarthu are captured by the Dzielni Kompanioni. He along with Zollo attempts to rape Brienne, but the attempt is foiled when Jaime Lannister lies to Vargo Hoat claiming that Tarth is rich in sapphires and Hoat can claim a bigger ransom if Brienne remains a maiden.

Uczta dla Wron

After Hoat's death, Rorge, Zimna Woda, and some of the remaining Companions travel east to the town of Solanki where Rorge finds and dons the Hound's helm once worn by Sandor Clegane. He wears the helm whilst brutally sacking Saltpans, which results in Clegane being blamed for the attack. At the Inn at the Crossroads, Rorge duels with and is slain by Brienne z Tarthu.[6]
